Lester, Barber, and Associates, Inc., offers professional, independent appraisal and consulting services to clients throughout Virginia and the mid-Atlantic region. The company has offices in Richmond and Central Virginia which serve local and regional clients. Clients include financial institutions; privately and publicly held corporations; federal, state, and local governments; attorneys, developers, and investors; and others involved in real estate.

The company strives to provide realistic and timely analyses for all types of real property, with an appraisal staff including experts on residential, commercial, industrial, and land valuation, and evaluations for eminent domain, estate planning, financing, litigation, and other purposes. Special areas of expertise include the analysis/valuation of office buildings, industrial properties, retail/shopping centers, multi-family properties, subdivisions, farm and timber properties, planned unit developments (PUDs), and undeveloped land. Other specialized services include marketability, feasibility, and highest and best use studies; lease analysis; partial interest valuation; and other consulting services which meet individual client needs.
